How Can I Return or Exchange an Item?
At UrbnFabrics, we aim to make your shopping experience seamless and enjoyable. If you need to return or exchange an item, you can do so by following the guidelines below. Returns and exchanges are available within the specified period mentioned on the product’s details page.
General Policy
- Return/Exchange Period: Items can be returned or exchanged within the period specified on the product page.
- Condition: Ensure the product is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition, with all tags and packaging intact. For items with a seal tag, it must remain attached.
- Pick-Up: In most locations, we offer free pick-up services. You can schedule a pick-up via the return request process.
- Self-Ship: If pick-up is not available in your area, you can self-ship the item to our nearest returns facility. The shipping cost will be reimbursed if the product meets our return policy and a scanned copy of the courier receipt is provided.
Return and Exchange Process
- Initiate a Request: Visit the “My Orders” section on our website or app, select the item, and choose the return or exchange option.
- Prepare the Item:
- For pick-up: Pack the item securely and keep it ready. Ensure all tags are intact.
- For self-ship: Use reliable packaging and include the order ID and return ID in the parcel. Address it to our nearest returns facility.
- Pick-Up/Drop-Off:
- During pick-up, our agent may perform a basic quality check.
- For self-ship returns, ensure the package reaches us safely. Keep the courier receipt for reimbursement.
- Refund/Replacement:
- Refunds for returns will be processed after the item passes the quality check.
- Exchanges will be fulfilled subject to stock availability. If you exchange for an item of higher value, the price difference will be charged. For lower-value items, the difference will be refunded.
Exceptions and Rules
- Non-Returnable Items:
- Certain products such as undergarments, socks, swimwear, and custom-made items cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Fine jewelry and select items may have a limited return/exchange window.
- Address Restrictions:
- Exchanges and replacements are delivered to the original address. For a new address, initiate a return and place a new order.
- Rejections:
- Returns may be declined if items are used, damaged, or missing tags.
- Multiple Items:
- If returning multiple items, a separate return ID is required for each. You can combine these into one package for self-ship returns.
Refund Process
- Refunds are initiated once the returned item passes the quality check. Timelines are as follows:
- NEFT: 1-3 business days.
- Wallets or Store Credit: Instant.
- Online Payment Methods: 7-10 business days.
- For self-ship returns, refunds for shipping costs will be processed upon validation of the courier receipt.
Instant Refunds
- Available for pick-up returns in serviceable pin codes. Refunds are credited as soon as the pick-up is completed.

- What happens if the pick-up fails?
- If the item isn’t picked up after three attempts, the request is canceled. You may initiate a new return request.
